Happy New Year.

Happy New Year, guys. It's 11:50 pm on the 31st of December, and I felt like I needed to post something before the year was over.

Did I ever tell you that I was scared of these days? These 31sts of December? I hate them. They're just a reminder of how epically I failed that year. Of how I went backwards. Of how nothing special happened.

I live in a fantasy land all the time, and this one day a year is when the reality hits. You know? It's like when you have a class project to turn in, and you don't do it for months, and then you wake up the day you were supposed to turn it in and you're like there is literally nothing I can do about this right now. 

You failed.

Congratulations.

But I guess there's a reason this is called New Year's Eve and not The Last Day of the Old Year or something like that.

You're not supposed to look back. You're supposed to stride forward with confidence.

I didn't have a new year's resolution until I started realising this. Oh, and by the way, if you look up RESOLUTION in the dictionary, there's a side note that says SEE NOTE AT COURAGE.

Just thought that was cool. Because making resolutions does take courage. As does going into the new year. Let's be brave together, okay?

Anyway.

My resolution is to start accepting my mistakes and my flaws, because I have them.

And one more. At first I thought I was going to say I'M GOING TO STOP BEING AFRAID, but that's stupid. You can't do that.

So I'm going to start being brave.

☂I know I've been announcing it everywhere like some crazy, egoistical maniac, but the truth is that I'm just really excited.☂

☂You guys were there when I moved to a different continent, got heartbroken, lost all my friends, and worked my way up from the ground to find a state of mind I was comfortable with. When i joined you guys for the first time, I was a bit of a wreck. My internet obsession was growing out of control and I could barely tear myself away from the fandom to do any work. Basically, my marks dropped, my violin playing PLUMMETED, and I was falling down the rabbit hole.☂

☂And you guys were there when I went through Aspen--which was HELL! I hated it. I was all alone. I had just been pulled out of school (which I had grown in and out of love with) and it made me sad. But you guys were there. You guys were there to cheer me up when nothing else could, so thank you.☂

☂We're a family.☂

☂I hope.☂

☂This is the part where I write an extremely long list about how much I love you guys. I'm trying to include as many people as possible, so here we go... (in alphabetical order btw. And there are older Bloglanders which I adore to death but didn't include here, so... ya)☂

ADRA-- You're clever and intelligent and you make life more interesting in the BEST way possible. Also, LOVE the photography blog. The "Where's Wally" picture was fabulous. 

ANNI-- From the moment I first met you, I knew I wanted to be your friend. You write amazingly, you have a great sense of humour, you're witty, Osmosis is the best thing ever... BABY IT'S COLD OUTSIDE

ARI-- You are unreal. You're nice and kind, but at the same time you're such a talented writer and you have great ideas. Lindsey Stirling's stuff is one of my new fave things. I ALSO LOVE UR SUPERNATURAL COSPLAY OMG

BLAZE-- You always find some way to talk to everybody, even when comments are appearing every few seconds. Thank you for always talking to me <3

CHARISMA-- MAHU! :D Anyway, you HAVE to come on the blog more often, I miss you. 

CHI-- I miss you as well, and your fanfic. You always brought cheer and freshness into the blog. 

DEATH-- I've said this before, but when I came on the blog the first few times, you were there. You were crazy and incredibly funny and you were one of the main reasons I stayed on the blog. I'm sorry that things are hard for you. Please, please, PLEASE get out the other side. I believe in you. You're amazing and you're strong and you can do whatever you put your mind to, whether you believe it or not.

DRAGONA-- MASS EFFECT. And you're interesting and quirky and cool. 

DUCK-- WE BOTH HAVE DUCKS AS PROFILE PICTURES. Also, you have this weird sense of swag. I dunno how to describe it. You're just cool.

EMERALD-- You have gone through so much. You're a fighter. You're a warrior. You're amazing. I love you. AND ALSO DUBLIN DAES WOOOO

EVE-- You are witty and I love your sense of humour. I have this weird kind of respect for you, if you know what I mean. 

FABI-- There are so many millions of things I could say right now about you, but I think I've said them all before. And I don't know how to put all the positive things I feel about you in words. So I'm just going to stick with this: Thank you for caring. I feel like you're an older sister in a weird strange way imma move on now im getting too embarrassed feelings are hard

JUBI-- JUBI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hi. You're bouncy, flouncy, trouncy, pouncy, and fun fun fun fun FUN! And you... you have a face. You are a human being. I still can't get over this

KES-- You are the most mature person I've ever met, and in a good way. I'm so happy you're back on the blog.

LAV-- I can't believe I'm saying the exact same thing right now as I did in that last sentence, but I AM SO HAPPY YOU'RE BACK ON THE BLOG!!!!!!!!! I love to read your thoughts about life, no matter how long they are. You're inspiring.

☂Because Mycroft apparently tortured Moriarty for the keycode that didn't exist. And I believe (or rather the person who told me the theory believes) that Mycroft's too smart to actually do something like believe there was a keycode when there wasn't.☂

☂So he gave him the information knowing that nothing would come out of it.☂

☂And why?☂

☂I'm guessing he knew Moriarty would kill himself.☂

☂But Sherlock doesn't appear to have been informed of this plan...☂

☂So yesterday I cried for two hours in a chapel because of violin-related stuff, and then today Dad and Mom were fighting constantly, then Dad lectured me for an hour about how I needed to be more decisive and how he doesn't believe I want to play the violin anymore WHICH I DON'T, THANK YOU VERY MUCH. STAY OUT OF IT.☂

☂And two HOURS ago they left the house to buy stationary, and I'm stuck here with nothing but violin practice to do. And I'm hungry. And I'm worried about them.☂

☂AND I DON'T WANT TO DO IT, OKAY? BECAUSE IF IT MAKES ME MISERABLE I SHOULDN'T HAVE TO DO IT.☂

Does nobody like Madame Mist?

Nobody likes Mist. I don't like Mist. But wouldn't she be amazing for character development?

Can you imagine the kind of backstory a person like that could have? Can you not see the potential?! WHY HAS NOBODY EVER WRITTEN A PROPER STORY (as in not a drabble) ABOUT MIST?

Ahem.

You'd also be surprised to know that nobody's written a stand-alone story about Vengeous either. Yes, he's not everyone's cup of tea, but come on. Even Tesseract has a story written about him. If you want to know how he got his cat, click here.

And Bliss doesn't!

Bliss was one of my absolute favourite characters!

Can you imagine a story about China and Bliss's upbringing? EPIC! And we could see why they are the way they are. We could have page after blissful (ha ha) page of brother/sister hate. We could even read a fight between the two! Isn't there anyone who has amazing backstory ideas for Bliss?

We could have a Bliss and Vengeous story! They could be friends! Maybe Vengeous could have been the reason why Bliss converted--

I think that I'm not even trying to talk to you readers anymore. I think I'm just brainstorming.

But seriously, people! Write something about these guys, because it would be EPIC.

My Fanfic Anniversary

(Let me just warn you that I'm doing this on a phone, so odd things may happen. Also, I cannot be bothered to put umbrellas in right now :p)

IT WAS MY FANFIC ANNIVERSARY! YAY!!

I kinda missed it by a while though. It was on the 5th.

I remember a long time ago I was going through a very difficult time, and I was reading Death Bringer and I suddenly had this feeling where I REALLY wanted Skulduggery to be with China.

So I randomly dumped their names into a search box to see what would come up and there was this thing called a fanfiction. And I was just like what the hell is a fanfiction?

Then I started reading fanfic after fanfic until I RAN OUT. And then I just decided to write my own.  

So a little later, under the name Thursday Week, I put a small story on fanfiction called China Sorrows.

Then I wrote some stuff about Fletcher. And it was just really fun to check for reviews and stuff! 

But after a month or two, my mom almost found my account when the computer had a fit, so I deleted everything. But when times got even harder, I turned back to fanfiction, and started writing again.

(Oh, and the whole reason I came on the blog in the first place was to ask Derek to read my collaborative story!)

So now I've written right stories in total for three fandoms, and I have over 120 reviews for my stupid thingies in total, and I FINALLY GET TO HAVE THAT RED GEM NEXT TO MY NAME WHEN I TALK ON FORUMS :D

I waited for that moment for so long.

I meant it when I said I was leaving

Temporarily, at least. Because you guys lately just make me a little depressed. Even though I love you LOTS.

So basically I want to say that I'll try to let you know I'm alive by saying hi via this blog and email and whatever, and I'm always going to be there for anybody who needs me.

I'm septembersilverfrost@gmail.com, so just... tell me what you need. Tell me random fun stuff. Say hi. I'm going to come back in September (September's back in September. That is just easy to remember, don't you think?) and if things haven't changed by then, I'm leaving.

Just a note on roleplaying

I'm getting a little annoyed by all this roleplaying nonsense, for a couple of reasons.

First of all, it's really helpful how we can check the story so far, but it's really annoying for those of us who don't go on all the time to have to keep reading page after page of text.

Second of all, some of the roleplayers get really aggressive (myself included, I have to admit) and argumentative. JUST CAN YOU NOT. Or like someone suggested, I can't remember who, can you please just leave a note saying you don't mean it or something?

So that's pretty much it. Oh yeah, I feel like half the roleplayers get ignored sometimes.
